The Role:
The Content Creator will be responsible for all social video output across The Face’s platforms. They will have a strong vision, plenty of ideas, and brilliant editing skills. They will ensure the highest standard of work and delivery, collaborating with members of the digital team, while ensuring innovation and best in class creativity.
The Content Creator will report to the Digital Director, working alongside key members of the digital and production team.
Primary Responsibilities:
360 management of all social video content
Shooting, editing and sourcing footage for all social video content
Leading on weekly social video formats and execution across multiple channels
Developing existing formats and contributing ideas for simple repeatable formats that can build a significant audience over time
Aligning all ideas with The Face’s tone of voice and publishing strategy
Contributing strategic content formats to the team, aligned with platform innovation
Overseeing edits and asset delivery on multi-channel content rollouts
Supporting the social media editor by inputting video production systems
Finding new directors, animators and editors to commission
Attending industry events when requested
Representing The Face to the industries it serves
Requirements:
A strong understanding of contemporary culture, fashion, and film
A strong understanding of The Face’s tone of voice
Experience in low-cost video content and in-house production for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube
Experience shooting with iPhones or lo-fi setups
Experience working with cameras, sound equipment and lighting setups
Experience working with Premiere Pro (Essential)
Understanding of Adobe suite (Added value)
Proven experience ideating engaging video formats
The taste and technique to make boundary pushing content

The Role:
This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to work with our commercial creative team to conceive, develop and deliver a broad range of high-quality ideas and graphic design across a number of projects and visual outcomes.
You will be working directly with a very talented and diversely skilled team of creatives, writers and editors, to continue the expansion of The Face Magazine; this is an amazing chance to work with, and learn from, the best — no matter what your aesthetic.
We’re a small company and a tight team — we work collaboratively, we let you know what’s going on and want you involved in what we are creating — The Face is a team of individual talents, working together to create something different, something that reflects those that are making it.
What we’re looking for:
You will be working across all projects which includes making visual decks, feeding in with original design ideas, creative mock ups and working on social formats and graphics for The Face website.
Have a good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite — Illustrator & Photoshop, with Indesign, AfterEffects, and Cinema 4D, a bonus, though not essential.
Strong knowledge and skills within typography and layout and can push design output creatively.
Must be confident in referencing and image hunting and help conceptualise fun expressive visuals.
You’re someone who knows and likes what The Face is doing, but also sees where you could contribute to our creative identity.
Produce exceptional quality work, drawing from your own cultural interests, whether it’s music-based, or art galleries or movies — there are things that you want to bring in and celebrate.
A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to share their vision, and work closely with their team to realise the tasks given to them.
Ability to work independently and manage more than one project at a time, and to liaise with their team throughout and confident presenting ideas.
Ability to illustrate and/or visualise articles with original content when briefed by the editorial team
Has a keen interest in keeping on top of the latest developments in motion graphics and animation, and the ability to bring this into your work accordingly.
Hybrid working, to include 3 days in our HQ.
