Adopted is a Big, Important Word

Several years ago, I began this blogging journey recounting the story of my adoption reunion, Eyes Of A Stranger.
The word adopted was a hard word during my childhood. As I grew up and grew in my faith, the Lord opened my eyes and heart to the beauty and love found within adoption. When I became a mother, I developed a new depth of love for all those involved in an adoption.
Adoption is the picture of love.
My writing friend, Elizabeth Giertz, asked me to write a few words about the history of the word adoption as part of her #WordNerdWednesdays series. If you’d like to read more, click here and you’ll jump right over to Liz’s Messy Desk.
Adoption is a BIG, important, life-changing, soul saving, sacrificial, costly, lovely word. Join me at Liz’s blog to dive deeper into the roots of the word adoption.
